Well honestly guys -- i just felt that I had to make some reservations considering the time frame, that i'm trailering my Z, that i have others coming with me, and that the size of the event is so big that i figured hotels would start filling up soon. As it turns out a lot of the hotel rooms are already sold out and many are close to capacity from what Scott was told when he made some calls. He and I both got rooms at the Ramada Inn Airport South and as it turns out it was the last 2 rooms they had -- apparently it is about 20 minutes away from the Speedway so that doesnt seem too bad. I really wish some of you local area guys would have helped out a bit more to give some info for us that are coming from way out of town - but oh well. Anyrate - i know Chrissy (LadyZ) and myself will be coming down in my Durango pulling my Z, we are going to try to meet up with Scott around Charlotte, NC and then try to meet up w/ Jodecy/TTony around Greenvillee, SC all on friday. I have roughly an 8 hour drive from the VA Tech area, so i want to leave pretty early in the day and whoever wants to meet up, caravan, or whatever -- that is fine - just let me know. Also - i know that since myself & LadyZ are coming down we were hoping to stay w/ a bunch of you Z'rs and meet up - i'm sure we'll do that at the event itself, but it would be cool to chill saturday evening or even friday and hang out.
